Vitamin C has long been recognized as effective in building the body’s immunity against various infections. But with the current Covid-19 pandemic, the usual formulation of Vitamin C available in the market may not be enough to protect against this deadly virus.  This is why a reformulated Vitamin C manufactured by a firm in Tarlac City has been generating a lot of interest from stories told by those who have taken it and swear by its efficacy.

The I-Provide Health Food Manufacturing (IPHFM) has taken its Vitamin C capsule and added plant extracts that made it a cut above the rest. Mr. Abelardo Balisi, owner of IPHFM said that it has taken his team of registered chemists and pharmacists with advice from medical practitioners painstaking study and research before it came out with the right combination of plants to produce its Vitamin C.

The result is a non-acidic, all-natural synergistic mix of hyssop, guava, rosehips, red acerola cherry and ashitaba, and high- quality calcium ascorbate.

While the research part was meticulously done, Mr. Abelardo assures the public that every product that the firm sells to the public follow the strict protocols used in the manufacture of such products.

Their facility has a license to operate issued by the Food and Drug Administration and is also Halal-certified. Their raw materials are sourced from ISO-certified suppliers and their laboratory test and analyses are certified by an independent third party.

The ability of being able to rise above challenges and adapt to not so-favorable business climate engendered by the covid-19 pandemic has propelled IPHFM to win the Region III PRAISE SETUP award for 2020. During this pandemic, many businesses are struggling to stay afloat, and it is firms like IPHFM who are open to applying science, technology and innovations and are willing to venture into uncharted waters that help keeps our economy going.
