AUGUST 1, 2022 - Brianna’s Food Creations, a known producer of coco jam, gourmet tuyo and chili sauce in Baler recently  received its License-to-Operate from the Food and Drug Administration through the assistance of the DOST  Provincial S&T Office – Aurora.

 The FDA LTO is a license which must be secured in order for an establishment to engage in manufacturing, importation, exportation, sales, and distribution of food, drugs, cosmetics, health products, and other medical products and devices.

Brianna’s Food Creations is a firm-beneficiary of the Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program of DOST through which the firm was able to acquire semi-automatic filling machine, induction sealer and stainless-steel working table to improve their productivity and product quality.

In preparing the firm for its application for LTO, PSTO-Aurora facilitated the provision to the enterprise of food safety consultancy service. This assistance included a write-shop on good manufacturing practices (GMP), and sanitation, process and quality standard operating policies, plans, and procedures (SSOPs, PSOPs, and QSOPs) documentation. The Central Luzon Food Safety Team (CLFST-Aurora)  also conducted facility and documents audit to monitor its progress in implementing its GMP and SOP manuals.
